Steps

  2. Step 2: Complete learning badges: Follow cloud career pathways to unlock additional credit offers.
  3. Step 3: Apply credits: Attach credits to your AWS account before launching practice instances.
  4. Step 4: Use Cloud9 or VS Code: Pair credits with AWS Cloud9 or VS Code AWS Toolkit for a full cloud IDE workflow.

Access paths

  • AWS Educate membership — Free learning platform with optional credit grants after pathway completion.
  • AWS Activate for startups — If you have a student startup, AWS Activate may provide larger credit pools than Educate alone.
  • GitHub Student Developer Pack — May include cloud and design partner credits alongside dev tools.
